It's 2 a.m. on Saturday morning, and I'm still up. I want to go to bed, I really do! But....at 3:30 a.m. the online registration for summer swimming lessons opens up, and I have to get the kids into a specific time slot. Ugggggghhhh! Well, at least I can wait at home with my dvd's and computer instead of getting up at 3:00 a.m. and sitting outside for 5 hours like we had to in Hurricane to get our kids into swim lessons. Yep - The glass is half-full. :) Oh, the things we do for our kids!

Games With Daddy
Bryan is a really good dad, I mean REALLY good. He takes the kids on hikes behind our house, to the park, jumps on the trampoline with them, etc. Tonight, he played Star Wars Monopoly with all three kids. They had a blast! It was really cute to hear the kids roll the dice and then count the little dots to find out how many spaces they could move!

Last Day of School
Well, today is Ashley's last day of Kindergarten. Ashley is really excited and keeps asking me if I'm excited that she will be staying home with me "for a long time." I answer "of course I am!" ;) We'll see if I'm as ready for school to be out as Ashley is in the coming days and weeks, but we will sure stay busy! Swimming lessons for all the kids start in two weeks, then sometime in July we will be going to see my SIL's baby be born, then outdoor soccer starts for Ashley in August. In between the stuff that we already have scheduled, we will be going to Timp cave, the park, and maybe go back to the dinosaur museum a time or two. It should be a nice summer.

The Twins' 4th Birthday!!
Two weeks ago Gavin and Cierra turned the big 4! Since we don't really know any kids their age around here yet, we decided to go to the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point (affectionately called "the dinosaur museum" by the kids). We live all of about two miles from Thanksgiving Point, so we figured it would be a great place to spend the afternoon, and we could get home quickly if the kids got too tired and needed to go home. It was so much fun. They have a lot of stuff for little kids to play with and learn all about dinosaurs and everything else that goes with them. Here's some more pictures of the kids at the museum...

Dance Festival
Ashley performed in their school's dance festival today. It was so cute. Her kindergarten class did "The Fire-Stick Dance" and she did a great job. I tried to take pictures, but she was in the middle of the field, and I couldn't get very close. You will all just have to take my word for it that she was extremely cute!

My baby is growing up!
I can't believe it. My baby (okay, she's not a baby, she's 6 years old now, but she's still my baby) is growing up. Ashley told me that her tooth felt funny while we were eating last night, so I checked it out. IT WIGGLED! Ashley was so excited to have her first loose tooth, but it was a bittersweet moment for me as a mom. She has wanted to have a loose tooth for so long. Almost all of her friends have already lost teeth (either naturally or due to their faces getting up close and personal with the sidewalk) so she has been waiting for this day for a while. I on the other hand, almost started to cry when I realized that her tooth was loose. It is just one more way that my baby is growing up. First kindergarten, now this! Before I know it it will be high school, cars, and dating, Oh My!

A Blog!
You know, I never thought I would do a blog, but now that we have moved away from most of our family I decided that it might be a good idea! Now you all can be a part of our crazy life even though you are far away!
